June 6-8 is Take a Kid Fishing weekend in Minnesota! As celebration, ECFE will host a fishing get together that Saturday morning, June 7, at Powderhorn Park. Tony Trelles will provide a limited number of polls, along with worms until they run out, and lures after. If you have fishing equipment, please bring it, otherwise just bring your kids.
When: 10am to Noon.
Where: At the Fishing Dock, behind the park building. Powderhorn Park is located at 3400 15th Ave S, between East 34th and East 35th streets.
Note on fishing licenses: They are not needed! Adults need not purchase a fishing license when fishing with children during the Take a Kid Fishing Weekend.
