Birth & Baby Expo: The event is Saturday, October 4, 9:30 am - 3:00 pm. We will coordinate and ask for volunteers to help work the table at our September meeting.
Early Childhood Play Workshops: October 1 at Martin Luther King, Jr Park, begins at 6:30pm. Kori helped obtain a Defending the Early Years grant to pay for these workshops on the importance of play in early education. They will be addressed to parents, educators and policy makers.
Officers: We still do not have a Chair. Suzie will remain the Treasurer for one more year. Ted remains the secretary.
Chinook Books: Jenny will have them ready for sale beginning the 26th of August.
Preschool Fair: October 25, 10 am - noon. Annette will obtain the permit, Ted and Jesse will plan the event.
Gingerbread: Date is undecided. Linden Hills is having a similar event on Dec 6, so we might push ours back to Dec 13. It will run from 10 am - 1 pm.
T-Shirts: Suzie will do this again, we will discuss details at the September meeting.
Scholastic: Angie and Lacey will manage this, to be discussed in September.
First meeting is Thursday, September 25.
